Our Garage Floor Installation Process

1. Concrete is mechanically ground to remove contaminants and open the surface.

2. Cracks and surface defects are repaired as needed.

3. Base coat is applied for proper adhesion.

4. Decorative flake or solid-color finish is installed.

5. Polyaspartic or protective topcoat is applied for durability.

 With proper preparation and quality materials, garage floor coatings can last many years under normal residential use. 

Most epoxy floor coatings installed in San Diego County by OCD Concrete Coatings are completed within 1–2 days. Light foot traffic is typically allowed after about 24 hours, with full cure over several days depending on temperature and product.


 Most of our flooring systems are naturally slip-resistant , but additives can also be incorporated into the finish to improve traction. 

 Minor cracks and surface imperfections can usually be repaired prior to coating. We can inspect your floor and go over options during our site walk for better clarification.
